Myhep All is a brand name of established dose combination of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir . This combined drug is used for the treatment of Chronic Hepatitis C infection in adults. Sofosbuvir involved in the treatment of Hepatitis C infection of all genotype I, II, III, IV, V & VI which is used together with Velpatasvir is a NS5A inhibitor. This medication is also used with an anti viral medicine ribavirin

Mechanism of Action

Myhep all tablet composed of sofosbuvir 400mg and Velpatasvir 100mg , its directly helps for replication of hepatitis C virus by blocking the binding of two protein essential. An enzyme "NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase" and its activity is prohibited by Sofosbuvir drug and "NS5A" is a protein and its action target by Velpatasvir.its works by reducing the level of hepatitis C virus in the body.


Myhep All is consist of Sofosbuvir 400mg+ Velpatasvir 100mg. Usual recommended dose of this drug, one tablet should be taken daily (OD) orally with or without food for 12 weeks


Absorption: Rapid absorbs from GI tract,
Velpatasvir: time to peak plasma concentration is 3 hour post dose. Food administration with moderate fat or high fat meal increase exposure of Velpatasvir (34/21%) respectively.
Sofosbuvir : time to peak plasma concentration is 0.5-2 hour post dose and its metabolite is 2 – 4 hours post dose.
Distribution : Velpatasvir : human serum binding is >99.5% ; Sofosbuvir: human serum binding is 61-65% and his metabolite has minimal human plasma.
Metabolism ; Metabolized by CYP2B6,2C8 and 3A4 in Velpatasvir and Metabolized by converting to triphosphate associated with forming pharmacologically active uridine in sofosbuvir
Elimination: Velpatasvir drugs excreted through urine (0.4%), feces (94%). And Sofosbuvir drugs excreted through urine (80%), feces (14%), expired air (2.5%) and 92 % is the total recovery
The terminal end half life is 15 hrs in Velpatasvir and The terminal end half life is 0.4 hrs and metabolite is 27 hrs in sofosbuvir
